We do not like denominational labels, because as Christians Christ says we are all one body, united and not divided. We strive for unity in the body of Christ, and teach the ESSENTIALS that every Christian must believe in order to be written in the Book of Life. We are not afraid to teach sin and its effects, the book of Revelation, or the doctrine of Baptism (Ex: all Christians SHOULD be baptised, but it is not a requirement to be saved). We also are not fans of religion or legalism. Both put people under the yoke of man instead of the Word of God. We love the entire word of God, and look forward to watching your hearts come alive as you gain a passion for His Word as we have.
God and His Word are trustworthy.
We believe in trustworthiness of God and His word. We believe the Bible is God’s revelation to man. As such, the Scripture is our final authority for what we believe and practice. The Bible itself is the best evidence for what it claims to be. The Bible is “alive”. Because the words are inspired by God (2 Timothy 3:16), the Bible is perfectly effective for teaching (“this is the right path”), rebuking (“you are on the wrong path”), correcting (“this is the way back to the path”), and training (“this is how you stay on the path”). God is the one living and true God, eternally existing in tri-personal relationship, Father, Son, and Holy Spirit, distinct yet One, equal and harmonious in the work of creation, providence, and redemption.
Christ is Savior and King
When we say Christ is our Savior, we mean He is the source of forgiveness for human beings and restores our relationship with God (1 Peter 3:18). When we say Christ the King, we’re saying that He alone is worthy to be on the throne of our hearts (Philippians 2:10-11). Christ is not just a way, but the only way by which a person may receive eternal life in heaven with God. Our belief that Christ is Savior and King follows from our belief in the trustworthiness of God and His word. The Bible teaches that Jesus is the only way to eternal life (Acts 4:12, John 14:1-6).
There is hope for the future, and forgiveness for the past
Our God is a God of grace. His heart is toward the lost (Luke 15). Jesus came and died for us, not because we were deserving of His love and forgiveness, but because we were absolutely not. God loves us in spite of who we are, not because of who we are. We don’t view failures as final. We are a ministry of recovery. We believe that the ruined can be redeemed, recovered, recruited, renewed and reproducing.
The Church
The church is God's redeemed children worshiping together, supporting and encouraging one another in the assignments of the Holy Spirit, magnifying Jesus Christ in all things and becoming disciple-makers. We believe Jesus Christ is the Head of the church as "Chief Shepherd" (1 Peter 5:4). Pastor/elders are undershepherds guiding, guarding, and governing the church in accordance with the teachings of Christ recorded in the New Testament.
